Kelowna Valley Insurance Services a Division of Growth Financial Corp takes pride in offering the right products, providing great service and employing the best people.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Lines Account Executive.

Our offices are closed on Sundays and Holidays (and no evenings) and this specific position is Mon-Fri.

As a member of our commercial team, this position is responsible for:

  • Retention of an existing portfolio and continue its growth
  • Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, etc., and make appropriate recommendations / solutions to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that all service needs are met
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and networking to contribute to meeting departmental production goals
  • Prepare client proposals based on client’s needs, rates and coverage options
  • Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system
  • Ensure accounts receivable remain current

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial insurance
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
  • Level 2 license, CAIB or CIP preference
  • Experience with Policy Works
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
